Angela Brown’s Bio

1458141943_LinkedIn-logo-vectorAngela Brown is an ESL teacher with Celina City Schools and has taught ESL, English Language Arts, and Spanish across the spectrum of educational settings. After earning her BA in Spanish from The Ohio State University and her MA in TESOL and Bilingual Education from University of Findlay, she participated in a study abroad in Mexico and subsequently went to teach EFL in Japan. She also was selected for the Department of State English Language Fellows Program in Indonesia for the 2008-2009 academic year. Upon returning, she began working for the US Department of Defense, Defense Language Institute English Language Center. Her career in education has presented her with numerous opportunities to engage in meaningful dialog and presentations for professional development and expanding opportunities for educators in study abroad programs. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, studying languages, religions, and cultures, reading, singing, and dancing.

This presentation is open to all EAP, Modern Languages and Prep Class instructors.
