Course Description
This course is designed for sophomore students to acquire, practise and use study skills. Coursework includes information on time management, memory strategies, problem solving, building vocabulary, active listening, note taking, test taking, thought and organization patterns.

Students that regularly attend this course will have a chance to develop their reading and listening skills, and apply a variety of study skills in practice, including but not limited to goal setting, organization, time management, note taking and building vocabulary. Upon completion of this course, each student will have a better understanding of problem solving and test taking, be able to analyze texts in depth, and put such study systems as SQ3R into use.
